A significant but surprising statistic: investment sales have been slowing down since October 2015, in some boroughs and sectors as much as 69%. Also discussed: the effect on the market of New York's June 2019 Rent Laws. All agreed: New York has old stock and needs new construction.

Though the June 2019 New York Rent Laws have significantly affected the real estate market, guests agree that, while some sales are down, New York's economy is strong, most rent stabilized apartments are rented, and people continue to come to New York to live, work and play.

Midtown rezoning revitalizing that area, new construction, new products, outstanding amenities attract fast growing technology companies, while substantially renovated buildings, also with amenities, appeal to those favoring a vintage-look.

NewYork-Presbyterian, with 10 hospital campuses and partnerships with two medical schools - adds new facilities, technology and programs as it continues to serve those who need its care: Stroke Ambulances, Tele-Medicine and Mental Health, Ambulatory Care Center and more.
