Late Sunday night, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo's top aide Melissa DeRosa resigned less than a week after the release of a report from the state attorney general found the governor had sexually harassed 11 women. DeRosa had taken part in an effort to discredit one of Cuomo's accusers by leaking personnel records. She also came under scrutiny for her role in the administration's underreporting of COVID-19 deaths in state nursing homes. The resignation comes on the eve of a state Assembly's Judiciary Committee meeting regarding the possible impeachment of Gov. Cuomo. Will DeRosa be the final piece in Cuomo's downfall?
