You feel abstract. How important you are in my life… Intimacy for me is one-on-one connected time. Raw, open, vulnerable, deep, honest, trusting spirits connecting with each other on levels deeper than my 5 senses. Intimacy for me is a sacred space- held mostly when I’m connecting with a friend, lover, family, the Universe, Mother Nature, animals, and myself. I crave intimacy, and it’s really where I show up the most.
I had an intimate moment with the Mother recently, all fours on the ground, crying/weeping/praying, having a conversation with her. Usually at the ends of these kind of ceremonies I have with just me and Nature, I get a lot of visions. It does wonders for my soul to connect with the Earth like I do.
I had an intimate moment with a friend recently, expressing our care for each other. We hugged and said I love you. A lot.
This week I had an intimate moment with my painting. An elk. A friend. A lover.
Maybe limited time can lend a hand to more intimate moments. Maybe the pink cloud should not be confused with intimacy.
Intimacy is not just connectedness for me, it’s deeper than that. And then there’s tools that help channel intimate moments for me- like eye contact, a quiet space, beautiful scenery, a road trip, dinner, physical touch, soft tones, candles, etc. It’s a vibe really.
No, intimacy is not only sex for me, at all. BUT, sex IS a space, for me, with the right partners, where I’ve experienced some of the most intimate, healing, and sacred moments of my entire life. Real natural fucking ecstasy, induced in part because of the level intimacy of those moments.
Man, I just long for connection and intimacy in every facet of my life. I want to GO FUCKING DEEP into everything I spend my time doing. It’s almost like the more intimate I can get with something, the deeper I feel connected with it.
I’m most engaged and full in my life mainly when I’m with: Nature, Sex, Painting, Music, Traveling, Myself, & other Loving Humans. All of these things can be approached/perceived in non-intimate ways too.
