Tucked away at the end of a valley in Castle Combe you'll find The Manor House which was home to Lords of the manor for hundreds of years.

Today, it is an uninterrupted spot of peace and tranquility with rolling lawns and cosy, wood panelled rooms as well as a lane of converted weavers cottages.

In this episode we're up in Edinburgh at The Scotsman, an iconic building that once housed its namesake, Scotland's primary newspaper.

From the 200 year old printing press to the 'reporter', 'publisher' and 'headline' rooms, the past is kept firmly alive within these wood panelled walls but a recent restoration has brought a fresh luxury to the space.

This space went through several evolutions before bringing 'desert chic' to Norfolk. It is now a brand that has inspired countless other renovations around the country and even has its own textile line launching in 2024.
