Oh, my, did we have sound problems on this episode. My apologies in advance. It seems my microphone had a meltdown so there's some serious reverb on my audio track that a much better engineer would have to get rid of. The episode... was also average, cartilage to connect some story arcs. But we had fun talking about it and you'll have fun listening.

Yes, and we're back to the usual high quality episodes with a return to Saru's homeworld and an explanation of the Great Balance. Come for the Star Trek, stay for our stupid theories on time travel.

Again this is the top as in "most important to us personally" so you can put away your torches and pitch forks. In fact, I'd love to see others' lists.

The first in a short (hopefully) run of below average episodes, this one features a giant sphere called Deus Ex Machina.

By this point we've come to realize that no one who beams aboard Discovery is ever going to be Spock and we're just going to keep seeing Burnham's disappointed face every time.

But that doesn't mean we're disappointed to see Spock's mom and find out more about what he's been up to lately.
