The citizens of America (and the entire planet) continue to take to the streets to hold their elected officials and police departments accountable for systemic racism, injustice, and rampant police brutality. We discuss some of the positive changes and reforms to our governments that are demanding to be implemented by the Black Lives Matter Protests. Defunding police departments has seen a surge in support and rhetoric, as well as protestors dishing out some street justice to monuments of some of history's most notorious racists. In the eternal lyrics of Sam Cooke, "It's been a long time comin', but I know a change is gonna come."
