Are you someone who finds a deep sense of comfort and satisfaction when cuddling/being cuddled? Do you feel a deep state of relaxation when someone else washes your hair? When you strip down to your birthday suit, do you find yourself feeling liberated?
It turns out there are both mental and physical health benefits to all of these things! Hallie and Jordan sit down to discuss the various benefits you can find in these actions that our ancestors have been doing for millennia! You might be surprised at just how beneficial these things can be for your mental and physical health. If your expensive health care routines seem to be leaving you wanting...more...it might be time to make an adjustment and try these free alternatives!
You may have noticed that we haven't uploaded in a couple of weeks, well today we talk about why that is and exactly how hard it is to maintain something that is difficult like starting a new business. We hope that we can be candid about our success as well as our failures and create an open, honest discussion about what it is people are struggling with and how they can break free of that "cushy" lifestyle and start to challenge themselves more often.

Play is essential for the development of social skills and a plethora of other developmental reasons. For some reason, as we age into adulthood, play becomes less and less a part of our everyday life. In today's episode, Hallie and Jordan discuss the importance of play and pull from the Washington Post article: "Why It's IMportant for Adults to Play".
Play doesn't have to be an impromptu game of freeze tag, but anything that brings childlike joy to your life. Be goofy, have fun, and don't lose that inner child. You never know, it could save your life.
It's humpdayyy!!! Every Wednesday is "Wild Wednesday" here on the Cushy Millennials podcast, a day where we allow space for reflection and look back at our last week to identify ways we behaved in a "cushy" manner. But any criticism should be paired with some type of affirmation, this is also a day to look back and remind yourself of some more wild decisions that you made last week!
Hallie & Jordan both take critical looks at their behavior and call themselves out for not making smart decisions just because they were "too difficult". What were some ways you acted cushy this week? What are some things that made you feel more wild? Let us know at anchor.fm/cushy-millennials
