Cushy Radio

This week on Cushy Radio:

Big goth vibes to get you through your /moody quarantine hours/ courtesy of Cushy's Aly Laube (me).

Who we're working with: No one... yet ;)

What we're listening to:
LOCALS - Faeria Zephyra / des hume / Kellarissa / Freak Dream / DEBBY FRIDAY / Wack
ABROAD - Quarterback / Sussy / Hunnah / Yves Tumor / Pelada

DEEP CUTS:
This album actually blew my socks off? Like, stop-what-you're-doing-and-listen kinda blew em off. It's a thing of beauty. One part punk, one part acid techno, dress the whole thing up w shouty spanish vocals = magic.

This week on Cushy Radio:

STILL no upcoming shows... Thanks a lot COVID-19.

However we do have sweet jams, mostly local, as per usual. This time we got jazzy.

LOCAL: Jamie Lee Trio / David Blake / Jodi Proznick / Brad Turner Quartet / Seamus Blake / Booty EP / Blue Rivera / Stevie's Revenge
ABROAD: Apollo Suns (still Canadian tho) / Monster Rally / kelby's trashcan

DEEP CUTS:
One of my Soundcloud finds! What better sums up these times than weird, cute Animal Crossing inspired electronic music? We're all in this zone... welcome it with open arms.

LOCAL - Canon Mulat / SIGSALY / Shitlord Fuckerman / Devours / Palm Haze / Harrison Brome / Chaotic Neutral / Trsit / Chill Winston / Baluu / Sad Boy Denzel / Marto
ABROAD - Rina Sawayama / Jaywood (potentially working w Cushy for a show in Van in the fall!) / Esperanza Spalding

DEEP CUTS:
Chaotic Neutral - Lowfi stuff that reminds me of when I listened to a lot of video game music in high school. Where's yr inner sad nerd teen? Find them and jam out.
