Bryan is taking the week off this week so the marketing girls are back to host the show. This week Bryan is joined by Michael Wier, a Technical Account Manager at Ingram Micro. Ingram Micro is one of the largest IT distributors in the country. Michael didn't have a precisely conventional path to his current role, but that is why we wanted to have him on the show. Prior to moving into technology, Michael was a classroom teacher. Spending almost a decade in the classroom Michael learned how to keep young distracted minds engaged. He now uses his experience as a teacher to help tech users and practitioners keep up training-wise in the constantly changing world that is IT. Enjoy.

This week Bryan is again joined by co-founders of Plow Networks, Cameron Plato and Brian Law, to talk of a real-life example of potential fraud! A few weeks ago, Plow Networks almost fell victim to a phishing attacker claiming to be an IT director from a large, reputable organization. With a few emails and phone calls, this person got past the front lines of defense. Luckily, Plow didn't fall for it in the end. For many organizations, unfortunately, it doesn't always end this well. It doesn't take intricate technology or highly-intelligent hackers. The only thing necessary for a phishing scam to be successful is a little social engineering.
