Tonight’s topic could you love and be in a nurturing relationship with a partner who has a mental health issue. Before you say no, just realize that some of you are abs don’t even know it. Heck maybe your partner doesn’t even know they are suffering with mental illness. Many of us are in denial about mental health. As if to seek help would mean it’s real and we can no longer move through live hiding under the disguise that we’re just like everyone else- normal. What is normal anyway. Tonight I share a bit of my truth and how I’ve moved past denial and got the help I so desperately needed and deserved. After all, we all are deserving of peace. But first you have to move… do the work. Being transparent with a potential partner has it’s risks but I prefer someone who is willing to accept every part of me. I hope this episode helps someone.

Relations are still a possibility even when the body has gone through surgical procedures. This isn’t medical advice as you should always consult your doctor. This is simply an exploration into the sometimes difficult conversations surrounding relations after an amputation or colostomy. Intimacy and love making can still be a normal part of your life after you’ve healed from those procedures.
