Isaiah 41:8-13
Comfort - Do not fear for I am with you.
Calmness - Do not be dismayed for I am your God.
Confidence - I will strengthen you and I will help you.
Conquest (Victory) - I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Relational Communication – Colossians 4:2-18
Paul has encouraged and challenged the Colossians to uphold Jesus Christ as supreme and sufficient for their salvation, and as the starting point of holy living. Then he describes what holy living should look like in one’s personal life and in relationships (church, marriage,
family, job). Now Paul concludes his letter to the Colossians describing a few more important relationships, and how to communicate within them.

The Etiquette of the Kingdom – Luke 14:1-14
I’ve never been one to pay much attention to Miss Manners or Emily Post, to get too involved with social etiquette. I don’t really like people telling me what I can and cannot do! So this parable doesn’t really get my heart pumping — and I’m not the only one. This
has to be one of the most ignored parables in the Bible. Has Jesus turned into a Mr. Manners? Is this some kind of divinely instituted social etiquette? Of course not. So what’s it all about?

Rule for Relationships - Colossians 3:18-4:1
Paul moves from giving rules for holy living personally and within the church community (3:1-17) to holy living within our relationships. He addresses the three primary
 relationships that most people have: marriage, family, job.

The Fair Unfairness of the Kingdom– Matthew 20:1-16
 This is perhaps one of the most puzzling of Jesus’ parables, not because meaning isn’t clear but because we have a problem with the fairness/unfairness of it.
 Here we learn from Jesus’ lips about the radical nature of God’s grace and generosity.

Psalm 150 – Hallelujah!  

Why do we praise God?  We praise got for what he does. We praise God for who He is. 

Who Is My Neighbor? – Luke 10:25-37

How do we address some of the hot-button social issues of our times as individuals and as a church? How does our theology impact our answer? And how does our lifestyle impact our theology? In this parable, we see Jesus weighing in on a hot-button theological topic of his day: “who is my neighbor?” But even in this Jewish debate, one’s way of living impacts one’s answer.

SENT With – Luke 10:1-12

As we see from this passage, we don’t go into the harvest alone. Jesus sent his disciples in pairs, and we too are intended to minister as a team ⸺ not just with other disciples, but also led and energized by the Holy Spirit. But another aspect is that we are sent to be with people, to enter not only into our community but into their lives. 
What might that look like for us? 

Holy Living – Colossians 3:1-17

Paul has just talked about freedom from human regulations and laws. Some false teachers were telling the Colossians that Gentiles had to become Jewish before they could truly be Christians, which Paul vehemently denies. But then he turns right around and gives “rules for holy living!” So Paul, freedom or rules, which is it? Here he addresses the issues of legalism and grace.
