Connor reached out to me via Twitter. He was raised in a nominally Christian home but he has always felt drawn to the pagan religions of his pre-Christian ancestors. I enjoyed learning a bit about his Germanic Paganism.

Nikola was raised loosely Catholic but had a conversion to Christ a couple of years ago. This powerful experience prompted him to leave the Church and he became an anti-Catholic protestant for about 9 months. The Lord then brought him back in, and so now Nikola is on fire for both Christ and His Church.

As we learned in part 1, Nick has given himself a year to disprove his Atheism. So in this second conversation Nick asks me a few questions about my faith and I share some of the benefits of what I believe to be an unmerited gift from God.

Jennifer had misgivings but finally agreed to talk to me because her husband Matthew (who introduces this episode) encouraged her to hear me out. I was very moved and touched by her sweetness and innocence. I also admire her staunch defense of the sovereignty of God in the face of what she probably sees as a Satanic cesspool of Idolatry, Mariolatry, and Sacrilege. I assured her that God is good. God alone.

Simon is an old friend, but we haven't been in touch much since he moved back west over a decade ago. He is an artist and a kind soul. He is a sincere seeker and I enjoyed hearing his voice after all these years.

In this second discussion Kieran and I mainly discuss Authority. I enjoyed our lively but friendly talk and hope to have him back again in the future.

In part 2 Matthew shares the story of his first ever Confession as an adult. He is very happy to be back in the Church, but still has many questions and concerns. We discuss a few of them here. More to come in part 3. As always, I enjoyed chatting with Matthew.
