I met André Julien through the Montreal Raelian meetup. I attended a monthly gathering in Longueuil and then we did our interview in a noisy fast-food restaurant.
Ivan is an old friend from the neighbourhood. His energy is infectious and I knew he'd have a lot to say. He didn't disappoint. I only wish he could have stayed to chat a little longer. Next time.
Alex is from Australia. We met for the first time at a "Skeptics in the Pub" meetup, and then he joined my Catholic vs. meetup group. For this interview we chatted in his kitchen while drinking beer and eating chips.
Natalie and I know each other. She welcomed me into her home for this friendly chat. I was just coming down with a cold, and so my voice is a little off.
This is my first ever Skype interview. I am happy with the sound quality. I contacte Lama Jigme Gyatso after I saw his interview on the Fallen State with Jesse Lee Peterson. I enjoyed our chat.
Stephen is an old friend. We have enjoyed many a game of chess, and many a game of squash. This was a great opportunity to get to know each other a little better on another level.
I met Vijay Patel as I was waiting to meet Yogesh Patel (no close relation) in the Hindu Temple in Montreal. His warm and gentle smile was very endearing,, so I asked if he would also be my guest.
Yogesh is the secretary of the Shree Ramji Temple in Montreal. Our interview took place in the basement of the temple, and the live chanting can be heard in the background. He was very patient with my questions.
Anthony is a good friend. We discuss religion and philosophy all the time, so this is nothing new. I appreciate that even though he doesn't agree with me on everything, he listens to me--and defends my controversial faith when he can.
