See if you can get the information in these QSOs. A couple of cities are mentioned, and there is some confusion on one of them. This is all normal in CW at the beginner level. Don't be afraid to call CQ even if you are not sure what you are copying is correct.
In this episode you will hear two contacts with very different "fists" at a speed of around 5 - 8 words per minute. Letter speed is faster, but the spacing between letters (Farnsworth space) is a lot. So, all in all: 5-8 WPM.
The thing about this episode is that there are different "accents" or "fists" and they are very unique.
Ham radio is full of commemorations, special days, and other events to gather contacts and make people aware of events around them.
This is one of those special days, with a non traditional callsign (1x1) and calling with a special CQ Call.
The exchange is simple (RST and State), but the activator has more to say. Pay attention and enjoy.
This is a very begginer friendly contest. The exchange is a variation of the following:
Caller: CQ SST
Response:
Caller: TU
Response: TU
Caller: TU SST DE
These are two qsos at a comfortable speed. There are mistakes and different fists. Try to get callsigns and weather or something else.
See if you can get callsigns and facts about these people's equipment, qth and other stuff.
In this recording there are prosigns and punctuation, including slashes. The sending is a bit fast, but not impossible if you can copy 15wpm.
If you can have a qso at 10wpm, the goal is to copy 30% or more.

Because there are a lot of POTA transmissions out there, I wanted to offer a different CW audio for people.
A great way to spend 10-15 minutes in the car, or going about your day…
