The enemy loves to use hurt as the means to keep you from your purpose, because when you are damaged it keeps you from walking in God's purpose & plans. 

Whenever an army went out to battle they always flew their banner for their Troops to see as a reminder of why & who they were fighting for.

Before breakthrough comes obedience, God will provide but you have to be obedient to what He is saying.  

Psalms 19:1 - “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims His handiwork.” All we have to do to realize that God is real is to look around.  

Our beliefs become our behaviors & our actions show our beliefs.

It's ok to look back just don't view yourself though the lenses of your past.
