The Communications Workers' Union, CWU has warned the SABC of a full-blown wage strike that threatens the coverage of general elections this year. This follows a wage impasse after a series of failed negotiations. The Union says it is willing to accept the SABC's 6% offer on condition it's backdated to April last year.
