Peter Clay, CEO and Founder of Cyberopz, says security is a problem that is easily solved with focus and commitment. We talk about what it takes to build an effective cyber-security program:

  1. People working together
  2. No finger pointing
  3. Understanding WHY organizations get hacked
  4. Committing to building the org's security program
  5. Cyber security can be done without great expense. Peter says there are five things you should make sure your org does in reverse order:

    5) Put yourself on a data diet

    4) Monitor your environment
    3) Be aware that clouds don’t solve security problems
    2) Antivirus and endpoint management are almost magic
    1) Firewalls are truly magic
    1a) deliver interesting cyber security training
