A year after CD Project Red reassured their staff and gamers that Cyberpunk 2077 would have absolutely no crunch involved in its development… it appears they lied! As of Monday CD Project Red’s studio head, Adam Badowski, announced that the entire studio would be shifting into overdrive and increasing the amount of days staff are expected to work. They admitted to this being counter to the point they pushed nearly a year ago, but stress that they have extended all possible means to keep crunch out of Cyberpunk.
