This was a great opportunity to catch up, and also to discuss some crucial topics around the role of the Chief Information Security Officer, Kate's advice for those looking to enter the profession and why we are not seeing more women CISOs globally.


Kate Raulings is the Chief Information Security Officer of the independent environmental regulator for Victoria in Australia. She has worked in cyber security related roles for both private and public organisations aligning strategies and practices to a variety of international and local security frameworks and standards. Kate also has extensive experience briefing senior executives and company boards on information governance, privacy regulations and cyber security.
