There are five points on this cycle. The event, thoughts, emotions, physical symptoms and behaviors that domino. We talk about how this might show up with PTSD or the effects of blocking off one of these points. I personally have been so use to ignoring things like thoughts and emotions I can get stuck feeling remorse for behaviors and lost in a sense of having no control. Understanding this cycle and it's breakdown can encourage a moment to pause and get tuned into what's happening within us so we can alter behaviors and not allow anger to take the driver's seat in life.
