This has been the most entertaining first six stages the Tour de France has seen in years. We had a surprise 300-to-1 winner of the first stage, a popular Frenchman wearing Yellow, and a crazy difficult climb that almost brought the peloton to a standstill.

No more warmup races. No more distractions. Le Tour officially starts next weekend! Randy goes over the final races in the leadup to the Tour de France and what we learned about some of this year's GC contenders (mostly Egan Bernal).

We also look at the teams that have started to confirm their Tour squads and which teams had some (surprising?) omissions. Some of these omissions are due to injury, but other's are based off rider form and overall team goals. What, if anything, do these omissions mean for the future of these riders on their respective teams?

An unexpected rider (and team) controls the Maglia Rosa, and one of the big favourites is back on his heels. Randy then discusses the controversy from the Tour of California, but more importantly how the race was completely dominated by the young, rising stars of the sport. The conversation then moves into which teams (and countries) will be enjoying the first rest day the most.
