I was a registered Democrat for the first 5 years of my voting life and an independent after that. I am very vocal against partisan divides and am always seeking truth & Unity. I was invited by the Utah GOP delegation to attend the convention and I learned a lot! This is my objective take on the experience!
Welcome to my first episode of my rebranded podcast - The Will Reusch Podcast! During this episode, I will talk about why I've decided to rebrand the podcast from Cylinder Radio to The Will Reusch Podcast and what my plans for Patterdox are. I also discuss the current discourse among Democrats about whether Biden should or should not step down. I talk about Project 25, Trump's chances of winning the 2024 election and whether Republicans are the more "reasonable" in today's political climate. Lastly, I touch on my upcoming trip to the Republican National Convention and what my plans are moving forward. Hope you enjoy the episode!

This is a conversation I had today with a frequent commenter on my Instagram account. While it was not as productive, as I would have hoped, I believe that a primary reason why it didn’t evolve into angry, personal attacks and ugliness is because I maintained a commitment to my “three pillars” of humility, genuine, curiosity, and grace .
The conversation was about politics and at the core of it, I believe that disagreements or misunderstandings about the difference between objectivity and subjectivity are the root of disagreement . Whether it be due to ego, ideological possession, or something else…
Applying the strategies that I breakdown in my free guide “Debate to Dialogue” helped maintain a sense of TRYING to be productive. Check it out at www.williamreusch.com/debatetodialogue

In episode #156 of Cylinder Radio, I speak with organisational educator and friend of mine, Tuli Skaist about how we can approach the Isreal-Palestine conflict with more nuance, empathy and understanding.
Tuli shares his personal story and perspective on the conflict, coming from an ultra-orthodox Jewish background and having spent many years of his life growing up and working in Isreal. We talk about the long and confusing history of the land as well as the conflicts and wars that have been fought for the last 100 years until the modern day. Despite the difficulty, we try to map out a way forward that is founded on grace, understanding and a desire for long-lasting peace.
