Happy holidays everyone and welcome to the forty-ninth episode of Much Review About Nothing: our merrily misanthropic Cynical Christmas Special! This time we delved into another festive animated trifle: Elliot the Littlest Reindeer (2018). Again, we must point out that we haven't seen the movie. That is 100% not a joke. Everything we know about the film comes from the trailer, reviews, articles, and our own biased preconceptions. Listen along as we ponder burning questions like: Can any animal, including humans, become one of Santa’s reindeer? Is Eliott part of a scheme to get Santa sued for his discriminatory hiring practices? Why does the evil businesswoman only harvest cutesy failing farms for meat? Does this film appeal to blind-deaf children? Who are the Yule Lads and why do so many of them lick things? But most importantly, is the so-called “Elf Conspiracy” an underhanded attempt to replace Christmas with the lesser, prison originated holiday known as Kwanzaa?
