Part 1 of a special two part podcast dedicated to Uvalde community. Part 1-Rev. Cynthia Wilson leads prayer of comfort, strength and healing for Uvalde,Texas Community and reads scripture reference,Psalm 83 in its entirety. Part 2 is a poem-homily she prepared in 2012-“Shield of Hope” dedicated to Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newton, Connecticut and re-purposed recently for Uvalde community.

Praising God this morning in scripture and a song that God put on her heart to sing this morning. Rev. Cynthia Wilson covers the traditional Christian hymn “Great is Thy Faithfulness” recorded in 1923 and written by Thomas Chisholm. Uplifting and encouraging on this rainy, yet beautiful Sunday morning as she is thankful to god for another day. “All I have needed though hand has provided…” God is good.

She briefly highlights music’s role, in this episode-the Blues genre-in unifying, bringing people together, raising funds, heightening both spiritual and social justice awareness out of the joy of music in a review of the Crossroads Guitar Festival 2007.

Recovery of Rev. Cynthia Wilson’s initial Coronavirus prayer of March 26,2020 that was mysteriously deleted. The error link mistakenly says it was deleted by her, the creator. However, that was not the case. This erroneous or intentional deletion left incomplete links on “Cynthia D. Wilson Speaks” blog and the “Pray in Place Prayer Circle” group for which she serves as administrator on Facebook. This deletion also marred the credibility of Cynthia’s reference to the availability of the prayer for download and listening to. The public could not listen to the podcast or download the episode because the link was broken.In podcast episode sequencing on Spreaker the lineup on the cover page menu is irreparably disrupted when this is done and, needless to say, not only creates confusion but reflects badly on the podcaster’s image.
