In a Beijing gallery exhibiting bikini clad mannequins smothered in dirt, Greenpeace Toxic campaigner Zhao Yan delivered findings of an investigation into water pollution from two textile towns in China's Guangdong province.

Over a million people visited the Shanghai World Expo on Saturday, a record number since it opened. D J Clark was there for China Daily and reports back on what its like to be one in a million.

Shanghai student Wang Shan was one of 58,000 volunteers who worked at the expo over the last six months. In the last weeks before it closed she returns with her family to enjoy the event as a visitor.
