Marcus and Damien get into a petty roommate squabble the first day of the Tea Robert Event. As the enigmatic Tea Robert and Bruno get settled in to Football State, the roommates have their attention drawn to someone or something trying to break into the Dojo.

Marcus and Damien take their very first master class at the Tea Dojo. They learn about just how deep the well of tea knowledge and techniques go, but get interrupted by a handful of assailants.

The day has finally arrived. Marcus and Damien take the Tea Practitioner's Exam to attempt to become fully fledged members of the Dojo. Will the two roommates succeed? Or are their skills still underbrewed?

Marcus, Damien, Abby, Jack, and Rick head out for some drinks. After returning to the Dojo, they are shocked to discover the appearance of a tea demon, who had been hidden away in a gaiwan.

Marcus takes his first lesson in Chanoyu, the Japanese Tea Ceremony, meanwhile, Damien helps brew tea for customers during the Dojo's public hours. Both roommates find their new endeavors more challenging than they originally thought.

Marcus and Damien come face to face with a master of illusion Cha Qi and have to face their worst fears. Along the way, they get some help from an unlikely and unlucky ally.
