  • United in Basketball w/ Coach Leslie

Welcome back to Da Doe Spot, hosted by J Wandoe!

In this SZN Two segment, we bring on another guest who I connected with through our love of the game of basketball! During my tour in Oxford, England (UK) we were able to share our basketball minds, and he allowed me to assist him and his teams. Now he's assisting me on the podcast!
Coach Leslie Isaac is a coach, trainer, husband, father, friend, a great competitor and is all about love and positivity! He has represented his local club, Oxford Hoops (Operated by our mentor and club creator Franky Marulanda) as a National League youth basketball coach/trainer over the past few years and his winning record reflects his passion, expectations, and attention to details of the game not many are willing to display.
We discuss how he grew up in a football (soccer) environment but did not fare well as a youth in the UK. Once introduced to basketball as an alternative, there was no turning back!
While we are living on different time zones, continents, countries and coach at different age levels, our objectives are to provide guidance to every athlete we are responsible for and ensure that this and the next generation are equipped with the tools they need to succeed on and off the court!

  • A RARE Discussion w/ Kelvin "Vino" Martin (Da Doe Spot)

Welcome to Da Doe Spot! This is your, host and moderator, J Wandoe. Thank you for joining and supporting!

Season 2 of Da Doe Spot Podcast has officially made its way to the court!

As a basketball enthusiast, I'm always excited to speak with anyone who is close to the game. On this episode, I'm blessed to be joined by a friend and international professional hooper who represents Adel, Georgia by way of Panama... Kelvin "Vino" Martin!
Vino and I met and connected over the summer (via IG), and decided this would be a great time to create some content. No stranger to travel or the social media world himself, Vino has brought many elements to my platform to include our concept(s) of showing love to each other, acknowledging our influences, sharing ideas through collaboration, allowing God to be our provider, and guiding this and future generations through community service and leading by example...
Take this moment with us to hear some of Vino's background, insight and highlights that helped him throughout life both stateside and overseas. After you check us out, let us know what you think about our discussion by commenting and spreading the word!
"To love and Be loved is rare..."

  • (Home Is) Where The Heart Is w/Coach Patrick Paul

Welcome back to Da Doe Spot! We are still in our "Home State"/ Carolina Pride series and I'm feeling homesick! Originally recorded in August 2024 (scheduled nearly two years ago), I'm finally joined by one of my very best friends and brothers, Coach Patrick Paul of Florence, South Carolina. He is an Air Force vet, author, coach, teacher/educator, Omega Psi Phi member, community leader, advocate, brother, son, uncle and most importantly, a friend. Paul and I go back to at least early high school years! Although we have lived across town from each other growing up and were stationed on completely different sides of the country during our military tenures, we have remained in good company and this convo is just an extension of what we always discuss.

We took it easy today but attempted to respectfully address the current state of the city and grew up in but sometimes feel we have outgrown. It's all love! We just want others to do better and experience more, even if that's not what they want...Gonna leave the rest for your listening pleasures.

Please like, share, comment and add Coach Paul to your list of favorite people.

  • Now You're Speaking My Language! w/Tee Nichole

Welcome to Da Doe Spot Podcast! Another Wandoe Wednesday! Season 2 is in motion!
With this episode, it was necessary that I took time to get to reconnect with a person who was also a joy to be around but also had a certain mystique about herself. It's my pleasure to present to you all this Valdosta State University grad as we hear various parts about her journey on her 1st (of many) podcast appearance!
Tiera, the multifaceted media maven, is from a small town in Georgia where she was raised by her parents to lead and be an example for others. As she grew older, she dealt with many challenges to include mental health struggles and overall lack of self-esteem and self-confidence. Fortunately, she was able to fight through her battles and found ways to express herself through learning new languages, travel, philanthropy, acting and modeling! She can be seen behind and in front of the camera, on various runways and stages and there is no limit to her potential!

  • Southern Sounds for the Soul (w/Chris Lewis)

Welcome back my good people! SZN Two of Da Doe Spot has hit its stride!

So many much of my recent moments have been providing clarity to my purpose of what THIS (platform) is. I believe this episode, another entry to the "Home State"/ Carolina Pride series and a much-needed reunion, brought that to light...

After nearly a year since we proposed a meet, I am finally honored to present to the world my OLD friend/classmate (C/O 2004), Christopher Lewis of Florence, South Carolina, and he blessed me with a very powerful conversation! One that I hope blesses you as well.

We both did all we could to hold back emotions as Chris opened up his heart about his childhood, adult life (marriage/parenthood), plenty of affirmations, parables, callings on our lives, our friendship during and after school, and the center of our lives, Jesus Christ.
I truly appreciated his vulnerability and honesty as we spent a whole hour speaking the gospel and expressing our artistry!

Follow his IG: heyitschrislewis for a sample of his talents.

If you're in the SC/NC area, check out Chris at your local pub with his mic and guitar! 🪑🗣️🎤🎸

  • Just Give It Up & Let It Go (w/ Jarell Rose)

Welcome to Da Doe Spot Podcast! The "Home State" series and Season 2 continues! 🗣️🎙️

For this episode, I've had the honor of connecting with my fellow podcast friend, Jarell Rose, founder of Meant 2Be Fit Training. He and I have been working on this moment for several months but finally got to it and the conversation went even better than expected!
Both serving in the military once upon a time, we have learned to live in a world of gains and losses. Surplus and deficits. Deployments. Separations. Custody battles. Moving. Constant sacrifices. Operating with lack while attempting to maintain an image that we had to eventually realize it ran its course. Tough lessons but necessary in order to reach the level we're trying to make it to.
Hopefully this conversation reaches who it needs! Please continue to reach out to your families who are dealing with issues as well as those who we think have it all together. IF it doesn't disturb your peace 👍🏽
As always, please like share and comment! We can't grow if we don't know!
