My next guest was born and raised in Saint Louis, Missouri. At a young age he fell in love with music and singing…. Currently, he is a musician ( percussionist) who plays the drums at his church. He’s a tutor and mentor for the youth at his church. He also attended thee  Alabama State University, a HBCU college where he studied music  and communications.  He's the youngest of his siblings. Shirmeka Denise Payne (Meka) a native of Saint Louis, MO caught the acting bug at age 16 but didn’t fully pursue it until her adult years. She performed in several school plays and appeared in a nationally televised Girls & Boys Town Hotline commercial. After graduating highschool, she joined a drama/improv group that allowed her to step outside of her comfort zone and gain the confidence to start auditioning for film. Her recent work includes starring in her first feature film titled “Hitting Licks” which is now released on YouTube. Shirmeka was recently cast as one of the lead characters in David Kirkman’s tv series, “Gonzo”. When she’s not on set, she enjoys writing and teaming up with some of St. Louis’ dopest comedians to create content and has even completed her first movie script with plans of putting it into production. Shirmeka is actively looking to work with others who share her passion and love for acting and to be a part of projects that will allow her to display her versatility and immense dedication as an actress.
