This poem means a lot because we have come all this way and we should treat each other fairly and nobody should be more deserving because no matter who we are or what we look like, we are all living people who should be treated the same.

This poem represents MLK because it is very similar to his I have a dream speech and because this poem expresses the wanting for rights.
