Finding your passion is something that doesn’t happen for enough Dad’s out there and out of the ones who do, even less actively pursue them. But the reality is you can find your passion in the least expected place and. If you don’t believe me you just have to listen to the story of this week’s guest Donte Palmer. Donte was a teacher whose life changed after posting a picture of him squatting in a public men’s room to change his son’s nappy. Since then Donte has created a movement called Squat for change which has effected positive change around the globe. He’s been featured everywhere from the New York Times to Netflix and TedX. Raising our kids to become Adults sounds simple but the reality is in this day and age we are actually encouraged to protect them so much that they don’t have the opportunity to truly grow into their own people and become independent. In this episode I speak with Harry H Harrison Jr about the effects of not letting our kids become independent and how we can release the reins a bit to let them become the adults we want them to be

What are you made of?
As a Dad and a man this is a question we often ask ourselves, and it’s likely that the answer will stem not just from our own experiences but also from our relationship with our own father.
This week I got to speak with Mike “C-Roc” Ciorroco who is the founder of the “What Are You Made Of” (WAYMO) movement and Mike has used his own experience with his Dad to drive him throughout his life. He now dedicates his time to sharing that experience with other through WAYMO.
