“Dad, Can We Talk?”

I must say this episode was a lil turnt up! My brother had a few things he needed to get off of chest as we talked politics, the radio industry, Jada and Will, coparenting, and all things fatherhood!!! We were long winded on this one, but listen to this man’s heart.

We are off to a great start for Season 3 of “Dad, Can We Talk?” My brother Fareed Johnson came through to drop some wisdom and share his experience with fatherhood. Season finale! This episode I sat down with my brother Alonzo Mason. He is the father of three, including two with special needs. He explained the joys and struggles of being a special needs parent, teacher, and advocate. Of course we got into some marriage talk, plus he shared his thoughts about violence in the black community. We did this interview outside so ignore the various sounds you may hear.

I sat down with the director of the Fatherhood Academy, Brandon Gregory, in this episode. He spoke about his organization and the need to provide dad essentials. I sat down with my HR manager from work and we talked all things fatherhood! He talked about the experience him and his wife had going through the adoption process. We spoke about the importance of fathers listening and interacting with their children. He also gave some great advice to fathers. Hope this episode is an encouragement to you!
