A former educator in five countries, Jarret understands post-secondary from both the supply and the demand side and has made a life-long commitment to ensuring equal access to quality education in the United States through the Higher Education Foundation, an initiative he founded in 2016.

Up Until July 2021, Jarret was a member of a task force to support the President of Haiti more efficiently to achieve development efforts for the country and its people through the fulsome use of the latest technology innovations.

A former Representative to the United Nations, and Senior Advisor to the President of the Russian-American Chamber of Commerce, Jarret has worked closely with leaders from around the world on initiatives and projects aimed at promoting the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

The Pennsylvania State University and the City University of New York's Hunter College.

Jarret is  an avid traveler, and speaks Russian.

Carlos Baker is the Lead singer, bass player, and songwriter for CK Baker Band.

He is an American born musician who along with wife and kids moved to northern Germany in 2009.

He considers himself a professional musician, songwriter, and author, having penned the novel SONGS For IVY in 2020 which is available on Amazon.

Carlos has written over 50 songs ranging from country to ballads to rock and blues.

He writes songs that are filled with raw emotion, many of which deal with his personal, experiences, and struggles with depression.

In our conversation we go into a lengthy discussion about the mental illness struggles he faced with depression and anxiety. He shares insight in hopes to help others that may be struggling with it.

But above all, Carlos says he is most proud of the four children that he and his wife have raised.
