In this episode, Daddy, Jubilee, Evangeline, and Abel all assemble together to talk about what they've done over the spring. We talk school field trips, visits to the zoom, and Brewers' games. Finally, we talk about when the angels showed to up announce Jesus' birth.
It's been over a year since we've recorded an episode. But we are back at it (despite any audio quality mishap). In this episode, we catch up on the last year, and Abel (now 2, almost 3-years-old) joins us for a few remarks.
We talked about Jubilee and Evangeline's first days of school, riding the bus, and the Israelite's return from exile. In addition, Jubilee gives us her definitive (or is it tentative?) ranking of the first six Narnia books and tells us a little bit about Little Pilgrim's Progress.
Jubilee is especially talkative in this one. First, we talk about what happened to Israel after king Solomon. We talk about Israel's idolatry, how God sends prophets like Elijah, and Israel's eventual exile from the land. After this, Jubilee tells us about some of her most recent adventures, like blowing big bubbles with dad and going to a Packers "family night" practice.
It's the month of July! And so we talk things summer, like Milwaukee's Summerfest, fireworks, and visiting Busia and Grandpa's farm in Michigan. We also take time to think about God's promise to David and Solomon's building God's temple.
In this episode, Jubilee tells us about her recent trip to Bay Beach. Then she and daddy talk about the Israelites entering the land and eventually experiencing success under King David. Finally, Jubilee gives us an overview of the Narnia chronicles.
It's been almost four months since we've recorded an episode. But we pick off where we left off in our survey of the big picture of the Bible. We talk about the exodus, when God saved his people out of Egypt. In addition, we converse about the arrival of spring time, some family birthdays, and a recent trip to the park.
Daddy and Jubilee talk about Thanksgiving (apparently otherwise known as "Thank You Day"). Then we talk about the story of the Hebrew's time in Egypt leading to the Exodus.
In this episode, we talk about how God kept his promise to Abraham. Then Jubilee tells us about the adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh, her favorite shapes, as well as some of her recent activities watering plants and going to the park with friends.
