Dad and voice actor, Patrick Vierzba, reads "Bluey: 5-Minute Stories"! The ultimate Bluey read aloud!

0:29 The Pool

8:34 Charades

12:52 Hammerbarn

18:39 Typewriter

24:17 Baby Race

Based on the hit animated series Bluey from Disney+, this treasury of six stories is perfect for bedtime and family read-alouds. This collection brings the magic of the show's most popular episodes to life in a new way, with beautiful illustrations and short stories designed for a five-minute read. Join Bluey, Bingo, and their family in imaginative games and adventures. It’s an ideal Bluey book for toddlers, preschoolers, and young children. And I give the characters Australian accents, which is sort of a must-see on its own!

In "The Pool," Bluey and Dad rush off to Uncle Stripe's pool, teasing Mum for being a "fusspot" about packing. However, they soon realize they've forgotten all the essentials like sunscreen, towels, and goggles. They are left hot, bored, and sunburned until Mum heroically arrives with the bag. The episode teaches a valuable lesson: sometimes, the "boring stuff" is what makes the fun stuff possible.

In the episode "Bingo," Bluey goes on a playdate, leaving Bingo to entertain herself. Initially struggling to find a game to play alone, she talks to a "rude" fridge and even gets her foot stuck in a railing. When her dad, Bandit, gives her a problem to solve—the color of a kiwi bird—Bingo finds a way to entertain herself by making "wanted" posters for a missing puzzle piece, which is stuck on her own bum. She learns how to play and have fun on her own.

In "Charades," Bluey and Bingo visit their Nana's house for a fun-filled game. But with younger cousins Muffin and Socks playing, the rules of the classic family game quickly unravel. Nana must use her quick thinking and charm to keep the chaos in check. This heartwarming and hilarious story perfectly captures the fun of a family get-together, full of unforgettable moments and playful tantrums.

In "Hammerbarn", the Heeler family takes a trip to the hardware store, Hammerbarn when Bandit gets jealous of his neighbor's new pizza oven. Inside, Bluey and Bingo create miniature homes in their shopping trolley with garden gnomes as husbands and household items. Bluey learns a valuable lesson about being happy with what you have. This story is a hilarious look at sibling rivalry and the "grass is always greener" mentality.

In "Typewriter", Bluey, Snickers, and Winton go on a quest to find Calypso and a missing typewriter. On their journey, they are "ambushed" by the Terriers. Using their unique imaginations, Bluey and her friends find a way past the Terriers, with Snickers learning to love being a sausage dog and Winton discovering his unique "space invader" trait. This story teaches kids about creativity, problem-solving, and appreciating what makes them special.

In "Baby Race", Chilli tells Bluey the story of when she was a baby and competed against Judo's Mum to see who's baby would walk first. After Bluey falls behind in the "baby race," Chilli feels like a parenting failure. A conversation with another mom reminds Chilli that every child develops at their own pace and that she is "doing great."
