We are back in the Clubhouse with Alix, Steve, and Ian talking cars! This is the Dads + Bikes podcast experience and we have a fine structure in place.

Right out of the gate we talk about our first cars and how naming them is key to loving them, such as The Jeepster, Beefsquatch, or Mouse car. This exquisite conversation progressed to speeding, rolling stops, and crashing cars. All in all, as a #dadhack, we suggest obeying the law at all times.

There are practical cars for your family, like an SUV or a wagon, then there are sports cars and supercars. We talk about how the outside of the expensive vehicles is a work of art, while we found ourselves disappointed in the interiors as some feel dated. 

Overall, it's best to have a ride - car, truck, SUV, motorbike - that suits your needs style.

Once again we are in The Clubhouse with Alix, Steve, Ian, and special guest Mirco!

This week discuss injuries and how it's always the last run of the day that kills our body and sends us to the hospital. Adrenaline is a kicker that can carry you through any bodily harm.

The best part of this podcast is the discussion around liquor, specifically Slivovitz, and how it can either wreak havoc on your body or heal your issues. From here, we discuss Mirco's next venture into the podcast from meatballs to possibly providing beef sandwiches or making cappelletti. Apparently, Mirco's brother Fab makes a mean Tiramisu and we're down to try this out.

Finally, we talk about when the right time is to encourage kids to do chores and how much to reward them for it.

Once again we are back in The Clubhouse and the final guest appearance in Season 1 with friend and entrepreneur Mirco, owner of MyBabbo.

We start our discussions by reminiscing about the rock classics of the 70s and 80s, specifically Journey's Can't Stop Believing. We quickly transitioned to how this song is always played at weddings and will eventually hurt us on the dance floor.

Speaking of injuries, as we become older our bodies wear out and atrophy. We're not as young as we were and for the sake of our children, we tend to have a 'safety first' mindset when working out. We also discussed the importance of having a routine and sticking to it, even when it's tough.

Back once again in The Clubhouse with Alix, Steve, Ian, and special guest star Mirco!

This week on Episode 39 of the Dads + Bikes podcast experience, we started off by talking about something revolutionary -- motorbikes! This is uncharted territory during this podcast but we nailed it off the top by discussing the rewiring of Alix's Kawasaki. 

We digressed to discuss food (always a solid conversation) and specifically comfort food and family traditions. Steve talked about having dumplings as a youth with his parents making 'bonus dumplings' that had something special inside. On the journey to demolishing 20 of these dumplings, you might stumble upon one with a penny, which signified wealth, one with a peanut that promised good health, and a date that suggested love is on the horizon.

This week we discuss photo albums and how this form of memory a lost treasure. What was once a need to produce a physical book is now replaced by the ease of smartphone with quick access to hundreds of pics. There is something special about cracking open a photo book with your kids and seeing how far they've come... and also challenging them to remember the times you had as a family.

"Nothing happens in the freezing cold," says Mirco, who is this week's special guest of the Dads + Bikes podcast experience.

In Episode 37, Alix, Steve, Ian, and Mirco discuss the exhilaration of taking risks, specifically the option of doing the Skywalk at the CN Tower or bungee jumping into the ether while on vacation. Continue to create those impressions and tell those stories for years.

We also talk about Sauble Bike Nights, which is led by local Brian Atkins who owns Amicis Coffee and GT Cycle, which is a weekly ride for anyone and everyone visiting the beach.

Mirco discusses his family-first business called My Babbo, which helps you transform memories into stories with keepsake books and video tributes. For reference, 'Babbo means 'Dad' in Italian. The company has seen many changes over the years and works with individuals and businesses, specifically funeral homes. 

Now that My Baboo is 10-years old and a local business, Mirco says it's so important to know how to pivot through the years. The beautiful reference is the episode of Friends where Ross bought a new couch.

Back in the garage is Alix, Steve, Ian, and special guest star Mirco.

In Episode 36, we discuss the greatest topic right off the top. Bread. Specifically bread and how a freshly baked loaf is life-changing. 

From there we talk about Steve's garage and how he's progressed in cleaning it up and left behind his early hoarder stage. While he thinks he's 'hoarding' all others that experience the garage sees a treasure trove of collectibles and an insight into Steve's mind.

It's hard to believe, but 70 minutes into Mirco's visit to the Dads+Bikes Podcast, he asks "I thought this is Dads+Bikes and we have not even spoken a word about bikes!" He is absolutely correct and astute to our podcast structure. We talk about Ian's newfound Instagram brother in Indonesia who is sending bike parts to help us on our journey to restore the Kawasaki 125's.

The gang also discovers that our strongest memories are tied toward your sense of smell. Listen in around the 18.30-minute part for Mirco's fondest smell. A quote to remember and live by.

"I want some meatballs!" Preach Mirco, preach!

This episode of the Dads+Bike Podcast experience is brought to you by the hands of Mirco who handmade his world-famous meatballs. The ingredients are secret but the flavour is beyond expectations. Apart from bringing the good in a hot crockpot, Mirco also purchased buns from San Remo Bakery.

While we devour the meatballs, we also went down the path of understanding personalities, specifically with the Myers-Briggs personality test. According to this test, there are 16 different personalities that humans have and we all fill into one of these personalities. The names range from the Entertainer, Adventurer, Debator, Executive, and others.

The reason for the influx of meatballs was passed down from Mirco's mom. We discussed how important it is to pass down these recipes and traditions to those in your family.

Praise neighbourhood friend and father of two Mirco for bringing us food, specifically his world-renowned homemade meatballs.

Mirco joins the Dads+Bikes crew Alix, Steve and Ian to discuss parenting and food. Mostly food, which all perfect. 

From a dad's perspective, we discuss when and who should yell in the family. Mirco gives the analogy of a pitcher in baseball and how he or she cannot always throw fastballs -- the other team will eventually get used to the pitch and own the game. Mix it up now and then and throw curveballs, sliders, knuckleballs so your kids understand who are the managers in the family.

We also all discuss trash-talking our dads at one point in time with the ultimate ending is an onslaught of furry that imprinted our childhood. Whether the tipping point being called a Blad Eagle and getting the "Grampie Knuckle," or away on a family trip and seeing the Banana Flambe, we all come to the conclusion to treat all humans and animals with the utmost kindness.

Watches. Yes, we're into watches. We also like bikes, food, and music. We're four dads in a buffet wanting to eat everything and do it. We're into everything and loving life.

We're back in the garage, also now known as the Clubhouse, discussing the style and history of watches, specifically the G-Shock and how it can handle extreme sports and vibrations while riding.

We also discuss astrology and astronomy and come to the conclusion that one is based on science and one is based on crazy. You can decide for yourself which is which. 

From a moon and music connection, Steve points out that Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon should actually be called the Far Side of the Moon as there is no actual dark side to the moon. 

We talk about disconnecting from technology and removing our watches and just flowing through the day, without care to know the time.
