Happy 2021! Jason is back, and he's not alone! Superfan Justin (aka JV) is on the podcast to bring a second voice to your earholes.
The guys tap into their 30 year friendship to reminisce about how they played as kids. We also dive into how our own kids play nowadays.
Do they support "Participation trophies"? Should our kids ride their bikes as far as we use to? And JV explains why his kid is a better athlete at 7 than he will ever be.
And of course .. two new drinks. You won't be disappointed!!

This week, the dads take us down memory lane to share what we wanted to be when we grew up. Our wives also chimed in with their memories, and we ask our kids for their current career paths.
One of us wanted a non-lucrative career in the financial sector, someone wanted to farm baseball gloves (?), and another is seemingly a "Yes" man.
In other news, Seth shares a hidden skill he has, Jason goes on an anti-drug campaign, and two new drinks are discussed!

How often do you find yourself lying to your children? Jason and Seth discuss this and the specific lies we tell our kids in preparation for life. Seth talks about how Santa Claus is a gateway lie and how his childhood was remarkably less magical than Jason's.
Our parents ruined us with their lies, gum, tv, video games. What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger.

The dads share their top 5 parts of the grocery store, while also walking us through the differences in our wives lists. What's important to a woman versus a man? (Hint: Meat is a priority of one, not so much another)
Seth shows us a way to improve our gag reflex - something I'm sure will be useful to you. And Jason strikes out when the clock strikes "Cocktail". I'LL TRY BETTER NEXT WEEK, OKAY!?!?

This is the Dads off duty movie review of Onward a Disney Pixar movie that doesn't quite live up to its billing but nonetheless provides some thoughtful and meaningful moments in a mixed bag. On the way Seth tries a bad drink, it has the words fire-weed in it, how did he think it would be good. Jason brings a colorful twist to his cocktail o'clock and it turns out much better than his previous attempt to bring color into his cocktail experience.
one movie and two very different opinions about Onward, reach out to us and tell us your opinions on the matter and perhaps what movie you want to listen to us review.

This week, Seth & Jason discuss what it's like being out in public with our kids. We smile about the places that are enjoyable to have our kids explore and have fun. In contrast, we cringe at the other places that make us glad there's a stay-at-home order.
Jason recommends a new Netflix series he's watching, while Seth shares a decent dad joke and less decent impressions.
