Day -  39 Why are rain clouds dark?

On sunny days, clouds are good at “bouncing off” light. All the colors of light “bounce off” into your eyes. Together, these colors of light make white light. So, we see clouds as white. But when it rains, clouds get thicker. Less light “bounces off” into your eyes. So, from the ground, rain clouds look gray.

Tucker the hippo is a popular star in a US zoo. But he has a little trouble. There is a problem with one of his teeth. A human can have a brace to help with his problem. But Tucker can’t. He needs a little trim on the tooth. Anesthetizing should make it easy to do the trim. But this can be bad for Tucker’s health.
