A couple of years ago my twin girls turned 16 years old.

Typically, in The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints, this means boys ask girls out and they go on double dates and fun group dates and do fun stuff. They spend time getting to know one another.

This did not happen for my girls.

I was tempting to give away their power and be bummed that boys weren't asking them out.
