Psalms 23:1
Psalms 23:1 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
The conversion. (The Lord is)
The claim. (My Shepherd)
The care (I shall not want)
The conversion. (The Lord is)
We must see God for who he is
We Must come to God by Faith
Before we can claim him as our shepherd we must receive him as our Lord.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
God always starts his work with conversion first
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
The Claim. (My Shepard) It should be a public claim
It was a very personal claim, not the Shepard of the world, or someone eles, but my Shepard My Father My God my Savior my king
We all like to claim an address that's where we live
We like to claim a name that should represents who we are.

It should be a public claim
Mark 8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
Matthew 10:32-33
32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
The care (‘’I shall not want’’]
