Today at Commanders training camp in Ashburn, Virginia the vibe was a little less intense. Another massive crowd came to see practice but today was more of a glorified walk-through. Players went ½ to ¾ speed and the practice only went about 90 minutes. After 2 straight days of intense, padded collisions, the team ratcheted down.

Most of the day the 1’s battled the 2’s and Sam Howell took advantage and had his best day in camp. Saadiq Charles was back practicing and so was Jamin Davis even though he had a court hearing scheduled for 1 PM. Unfortunately backup DT David Bada was reported to have torn his triceps muscle in Wednesday’s practice and he’s being further evaluated but looks like his season is probably done.

Jason Wright tried to quiet the Change The Name crowd by telling Up & Adams host Kay Adams that the name change is NOT something the new owners are discussing.

In a late move, David Bata was placed on season-ending IR and the team signed DT Curtis Brooks.
