  • 064: How to Say No and Why It’s the Key to Creating Time
It’s hard to say "no". We often feel a sense of obligation and don’t want to offend anyone, or maybe we just feel bad. We don’t want to disappoint people.

While "no" can be a hard word to say, it’s the only tool we have for creating more time.

Yes fills time. No makes time.

But it’s not enough just to say no for the sake of saying no. We need to look at the deeper reasons for saying yes. When we say no to one thing, we essentially give ourselves the credits to say yes to something else.

  • 063: You’re Given a Free Day – What Would You Do With It?
What if you didn't have to go into work tomorrow? What if all of your responsibilities were gone for the day and you could do whatever you liked?

You don't have an unlimited budget and you can't teleport anywhere, but what would you do? How would you spend your day?

I posed this question to the Community members at seanwes.com/community. I asked them how they would do with a free day. You'll be hearing more from the Community members as we get into seanwes tv. I'll be engaging with people there before we record these episodes and bring their questions and comments into the show.

  • 062: Get More Done in a Day
Yesterday, I talked about doing too many thing at once and the importance of focus. Today, I want to continue with that theme and talk about how to get more done in a day. The most common struggle I get people writing me about is not having enough time. The emails say, "There's just not enough time in a day. I need more time. There's not enough time to go to work, be with family, read, work out, etc."

Here's the thing: You don't need more time.

We all have the same 24 hours in a day, and we can't do anything about that. Time is an abstract concept; there's just the now. The sun comes up at some point and it goes down at another point. It doesn't really matter.

You don't need more time, you need more focused time.

  • 061: Doing Too Many Things at Once? Watch This!
Most people are doing too many things at once. Either you have a lot of passions, or you have a lot of new ideas for your business and you want to try them all.

The problem is you can’t multitask. You can really only switch between things. This switching wastes your energy. It wastes your focus. This makes you less effective at each thing.

There are a number of reasons you might be afraid to do fewer things: you may feel like you’re going to miss out, you may feel like you’re saying no to a part of you forever, you may feel like you’re going to disappoint someone—possibly yourself.
