COINFEED HEADLINES OF THE DAY
https://coinfeed.com
Overall, market volume is at one of the lowest levels this year. Bitcoin price holding steady at $6500. Almost as if there were unnatural forces holding it still.
Movers and Shakers
Winners: Polymath roars upward to 33 cents rising by 14%. MobileGo continues its rise with a not so modest increase by 8%.
Losers: The biggest loser Dogecoin zigzags down by 2%. Other than that, most of the market did okay.
Top Headlines
And now for headlines.
Hublot Blockchain Watch
Watch connoisseurs may want to jump on the Blockchain watch from Hublot. Only 210 will be made. A hat tip to the 21 million Bitcoins that will ever be in existence. At least if Bitcoin implodes you’ll have a watch to show for it. Smile.

Wrapped Bitcoin
Speaking of Bitcoin, the first stable coin pegged to Bitcoin has been launched on the Ethereum protocol. Wrapped Bitcoin, an ERC-20 token with ticker symbol WBTC, will provide liquidity to Bitcoin on the Ethereum chain.

MapleChange
The Canadian exchange MapleChange is insolvent and has shut down its entire operation. And just like that. They were gone.

And now for NOT REALLY NEWS NEWS BUT LET’S TALK ABOUT IT. This one is a bit serious. Over the weekend the infamous Bitfinex’d was reportedly doxxed. That’s the kind of the scary thing about crypto. When you mess with peoples money, they may come after you. We won’t go much into the story because we don’t like to promote anonymous hearsay. But I did link to an article in the Coinfeed app that’s certainly an intriguing read. https://coinfeed.com/share/2795536/64/24543/jxnzvw/whalepool-and-bitfinex-are-now-breaking-federal-laws-to-attack-whistleblowers
More NOT REALLY NEWS NEWS, there are two articles going around that should be approached with caution. The first is about a lower court in Shenzhen classifying Bitcoin as property. These type of reports create bullish sentiment, because it makes it seem like China is all in, but that’s not the case. There’s no common law in China. Precedent, especially from a lower court, does not matter. It would be a mistake to believe the legal system in China operates in the same way as Western nations’. https://coinfeed.com/share/2781963/64/24543/jxnzvw/in-china-bitcoin-payments-are-legal-after-all
The second article going around is about Australia Post allowing users to purchase Bitcoin with its Digital ID. This is an example of reverse-FUD. Do me a favor, go on the Australia Post’s website and tell me if you’re still bullish on that idea. https://coinfeed.com/share/2817662/64/24543/jxnzvw/australia-post-allows-customers-to-purchase-bitcoin-within-minutes
Oh Hai,
I'm Coinfeed TV. This is not your daddy's Bloomberg. We tell it like it is and we may hurt your feelings. But we do it because cause we love you. Now bring it in.
This show is slightly advanced. If you're just getting into crypto much of this will go over your head. But that's okay, we have a home for you too. Download the Coinfeed app and say hello. Someone there would be happy to help you.
We'll use this show to discuss cryptocurrencies (or as we prefer to call them: cryptoassets) such as Bitcoin. We'll also cover some alt coins from time to time. We likely won't mention any assets that have low liquidity since those assets are more prone to manipulation. Coins in our system include: Ethereum ETH, NEO, GAS, Litecoin LTC, Ripple XRP, Dogecoin, Pied Piper Coin PPI, Tether USDT, Stellar XLM, Nem XEM, Binance BNB, Kucoin KCS, ZCash ZEC, Monero XMR, Cardano ADA, Nano
