Leviticus 20:6–8 (CSB) —6“Whoever turns to mediums or spiritists and prostitutes himself with them, I will turn against that person and cut him off from his people. 7Consecrate yourselves and be holy, for I am the Lord your God. 8Keep my statutes and do them; I am the Lord who sets you apart.

Mark 14:48–52 (CSB) —48Jesus said to them, “Have you come out with swords and clubs, as if I were a criminal, to capture me? 49Every day I was among you, teaching in the temple, and you didn’t arrest me. But the Scriptures must be fulfilled.” 50Then they all deserted him and ran away. 51Now a certain young man, wearing nothing but a linen cloth, was following him. They caught hold of him, 52but he left the linen cloth behind and ran away naked.

Proverbs 27:1 (CSB) —1Don’t boast about tomorrow, for you don’t know what a day might bring. How true are these words. We spend so much time planning and preparing but in the end we don’t even know what might happen today. I am so thankful that even though I don’t know what today might bring the Lord knows. I plan on following Him today, how about you?

Acts 1:12–14 (CSB) —12Then they returned to Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives, which is near Jerusalem—a Sabbath day’s journey away. 13When they arrived, they went to the room upstairs where they were staying: Peter, John, James, Andrew, Philip, Thomas, Bartholomew, Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot, and Judas the son of James. 14They all were continually united in prayer, along with the women, including Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers.

What do you love? Do you love the word of God? I pray you do. I love the Word of God for so many reasons. Today I would like to share one of the reasons I personally love the word of God. You may have not thought about this one.
