"എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു രോഗശാന്തി വരേണ്ടതിന്നു തമ്മിൽ പാപങ്ങളെ ഏറ്റുപറഞ്ഞു ഒരുവന്നു വേണ്ടി ഒരുവൻ പ്രാർത്ഥിപ്പിൻ. നീതിമാന്റെ ശ്രദ്ധയോടുകൂടിയ പ്രാർത്ഥന വളരെ ഫലിക്കുന്നു.

“Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) is able to accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].”

20.⁠ ⁠നീ എഴുന്നേറ്റു ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെല്ലുക; ഞാൻ അവരെ അയച്ചതാകകൊണ്ടു ഒന്നും സംശയിക്കാതെ അവരോടുകൂടെ പോക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

6.⁠ ⁠അതുകൊണ്ടു അവൻ തക്കസമയത്തു നിങ്ങളെ ഉയർത്തുവാൻ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ബലമുള്ള കൈക്കീഴു താണിരിപ്പിൻ.

39.⁠ ⁠വാഗ്ദത്തം നിങ്ങൾക്കും നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കൾക്കും നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ കർത്താവു വിളിച്ചു വരുത്തുന്ന ദൂരസ്ഥന്മാരായ ഏവർക്കും ഉള്ളതല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
