Bearing Fruit in Every Season
Scripture: Psalm 1:1-3 (The Message)
How well God must like you—
you don't hang out at Sin Saloon,
you don't slink along Dead-End Road,
you don't go to Smart-Mouth College.
Instead you thrill to God's Word,
you chew on Scripture day and night.
You're a tree replanted in Eden,
bearing fresh fruit every month,
Never dropping a leaf,
In today's devotional, let us reflect on the importance of staying rooted in God's Word. As we meditate on Scripture and follow His guidance, we can become like trees planted in fertile soil, bearing fruit in every season of our lives.
Let's commit to spending time in God's Word daily, allowing it to nourish and shape us. As we grow in our understanding and application of Scripture, we can experience a vibrant and fruitful life in Christ.
Father, thank you for your life-giving Word. Help us to delight in your Scripture and to meditate on it day and night. May we be like trees planted in your presence, bearing fruit in every season, and flourishing in our walk with you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
