“In the morning, Lord, You hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before You and wait expectantly” (Psalm 5:3). Yes, God hears our prayers even though it may not seem like it. Anyway, I just want to encourage you that the Lord hears you, ok? So stay with it -- stay with it.

I've come to remind you today that God is with you and He will make a way for you. I know, because He did it for me. It's true. In Joshua 1:5, the Lord said to Joshua, "no one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you" and in verse 9 the Lord said to him, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” God is saying the same thing to you and I -- that He will never leave us.

God is the ultimate protector, it gets no better than that. You want more proof? Ok, remember the story of Daniel and the lions den? It was when Daniel was thrown into the lions den based on jealousy and hatred. It happened in In Daniel 6:17-13.

Do you know it’s ok to start visualizing the visions and dreams God has for us? Do you know that some people stop thinking on what they want to be and do, because they think it's too big for them? I know, because I used to think the same way. Yes I was scared to move and I let the people around me, talk me out of my dreams. I finally realized that they were scared too. Can you believe that? We have to live out what keeps tugging at our heart, because that's God guiding us. Psalm 31:3 says, "for you are my rock and my fortress; and for your name's sake you lead me and guide me."

We've heard many people tell the story of David and the evil giant Goliath, but I've never heard anyone say that there were actually two giants in the story. One was Goliath and the other was David. Yes David. 1 Samuel 17 tells the story.

James 2:14-17 is a reminder that WE have to make things happen for ourselves and when we start stepping out one step at a time, everything we have been waiting for will eventually come for us. This is the deal: whatever it is we do, whatever it is we're about, whatever it is that aches in our heart to do, we have to stop being afraid to do it. We have to do it scared, but just do it. There are so many people who have been waiting for someone like you and I. Are we doing anything to help or inspire them? I know, because I did the same thing, but you don't have to. Don't make my mistakes. Move faster on your gifts, skills, and the greatness you offer the world.

My philosophy is this: As long as we keep walking towards the Light -- towards the positive, we will get to where God has for us to go, so why not keep walking forward, right? Why not look forward to tomorrow? Tomorrow is not today and it's not yesterday, so let's at least have the mindset that it offers beautiful and splendid things.
Proverbs 4:10-12 says, "Hear, my son [and daughter], and accept my words, that the years of your life may be many. I have taught you the way of wisdom; I have led you in the paths of uprightness. When you walk, your step will not be hampered, and if you run, you will not stumble."

If you’re in a good place today, that's awesome. I’m glad you made it through. Just in case you aren’t, you will get through too. Romans 8:37-39 says: "No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Continue to keep going and going and going...Translation: God has much for you and I, so we have to keep toiling and keep rolling. Matthew 6:33 says to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness and all the things He has for us will be added to us. That’s it.

Do you know that when God says you're going to be blessed with a promise He's made to you, it's going to happen? Because when God said it was going to get done, it's going to get done. Nobody can stop it, nobody can block it, and nobody can influence the outcome. What God has your name on, is for you and only you. "For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God" (2 Corinthians 1:20).
