Do you know you have the power to speak things into existence? Do you know you have the power to change your atmosphere? Oh yes, so speak life to your life and know that the Lord's Word never comes back void. It is always alive and active. It's never too late to start speaking over your life. In Mark 11:24 Jesus says, "therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" and Proverbs 23:7 says, "for as a man thinks in his heart, so is he."

Do you know you have joy and victory? Well, do you? Because, it's in you. It really is and it doesn't matter what's coming at you either, continue to know that you already have the joy and the victory. Psalm 3 was David's prayer to the Lord when it seemed all was lost, when those who were the closest to him were trying to defeat him. But God -- ohhhhh God -- was there when no one else was, so David turned to Him.

Do you know that what God promised you, is still there? Oh yes, it's still there. It's just that you can't see it in the natural. You can only see it with your spiritual eyes. You see, that's how faith works. Hebrews 11:1 is the proof.

Romans 12:2 says, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."  It's about trying to be better every day.

And the Lord did not remove the pillar of cloud or pillar of fire from its place in front of the people" (Exodus 13:21/22). Walk in His ways and watch where He takes you. You will get to the promised land. Stay encouraged in your walk.

Are you focused on the important things God wants you to do or are you letting distractions get the best of you? Is time running out for you or are you using your time wisely? Do you know the time is now to do what the Lord told us to do? Let me tell you, I know all about distractions and I know all about lazy time. And I don't want anybody else to live there.

Psalm 37:4 says to delight ourselves in the Lord, and He will give us the desires of our heart. We just start have to take our time here seriously, because it will be a shame for our time to run out. We just have to start from where we are now, work hard, and move on to the great things the Lord has for us. When we do that, we will make it.

I’m gonna make a change for once in my life. It's going to feel real good, going make a difference, I'm going to make it right. As I turn up the collar on my favorite winter coat, this wind is blowing my mind. I see the kids in the street with not enough to eat. Who am I to be blind pretending not to see their needs? A summer's disregard, a broken bottle top, and one man's soul. They follow each other on the wind you know, because they got nowhere to go. That's why I want you to know, I'm starting with the man in the mirror. I'm asking him to change his ways and no message could have been any clearer. If you want you make the world a better place take a look at yourself and then make a change.

Those are the lyrics to Michael Jackson's song, Man in the Mirror. And those lyrics along with 2 Corinthians 5:17 are such a reminder and a conviction to me today, that I am indeed a new creation who has much work to do in my life. And I am starting with myself -- with the girl in the mirror, to make things right -- yes, to make things the way the Lord would have me to make them. I'm starting with the girl in the mirror. I'm starting to change my ways. I'm starting with the girl in the mirror. I'm making the world a better place. Today.

The blessed diligent is called blessed for a reason. It's because they do not stop. They continue on even when they're tired. Yes, the Lord blesses the diligent, the active, the persistent, the laborious. Proverbs 10:4 says, "poor is he who works with a negligent hand, but the hand of the diligent makes rich."

Isaiah 43:19 says, "Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert."  God is working. Do you feel it? Do you sense it? Because, He's doing what only He can do -- something abundantly amazing.
