In this episode, Tola continues exploring the 2025 theme: Revival, focusing on the revival of the heart. Drawing from Psalm 119:107, "I am afflicted very much; revive me, O Lord, according to Your word," and Proverbs 4:23, "Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it flow the springs of life," Tola reflects on how life’s challenges can create spiritual blockages in our hearts. She likens this process to physical heart issues, emphasizing the need for God's "spiritual CPR" to restore and revive our hearts for a renewed life in Him.
The Spiritual Condition of the Heart:
Life’s hurts, griefs, and disappointments can create spiritual "blockages," much like physical heart conditions.
These blockages affect how we relate to others, approach life, and even connect with God.
Revival starts by addressing the broken, hidden, and hardened parts of our hearts.
God desires to revive these areas, bringing restoration and renewal. Turning to God for Healing:
Open your heart to God, sharing your pain and experiences honestly.
Use scripture as a prayer, including:
Trust God to perform spiritual CPR, healing the areas impacted by past hurts and bringing life where it has been lost.
Revival is about submitting to God’s will and allowing Him to heal according to His word and justice.
Are there areas in your heart that need healing and revival?
How can you invite God into those areas to perform His spiritual CPR?
Meditate on Psalm 119, focusing on verses about revival.
Use scripture as a guide to pray for the revival of your heart.
Surrender your pain and brokenness to God, allowing Him to bring restoration.Closing Encouragement:
Revival begins with an open heart. No matter how hurt, blocked, or broken your heart feels, God is able to bring healing and renewal. Let this year of Revival be a season of personal restoration as you trust the One who revives according to His word and lovingkindness.
