We are never in a stronger spiritual position than when we’re resting on God by faith and praising Him. A complaining spirit, bitterness, anger—these don’t create an atmosphere for God to work. Praise is what the Word of God says to do if we want to make God happy. It’s not about what we’re comfortable with. God sits on a throne of praise. Let’s lift Him up today!

We do not succeed in life by our own strength. Even David, the great king of Israel, acknowledged this! The psalmist wrote that the king rejoiced in the Lord’s strength—not his own. He faced the day and his battles with God. Whatever we will face today, God is our strength. Knowing that is truly living by faith.

Sometimes we're greatly tempted to look away from God—to stop trusting Him for answers, for our needs, for rescue. Our problems seem too big. We find other things to trust with our money, kids, and worries. But Christians should put their trust in the name of the Lord. Our Redeemer is faithful and true—whatever He says, He will do!

How precious is the Bible to you? The psalmist wrote that the Word of God is perfect, trustworthy, right, radiant, pure, and firm. It should be more important to us than riches and sweeter than honey. When we take this outlook toward God’s Word, we begin to meditate on it in a way that is pleasing to the Lord. Our attitude will minister to others!

Many times in life we face devastating circumstances that leave us wondering, “Why, God?” We know He has a plan, but we don’t get all the answers right now. When we can't see His face or understand exactly what He's doing, we can still hold His hand. Praise God, on the other side of the trial, we can look back and see how He was working all along.

Are you trying to fight your own battles today? God sees what is right and will vindicate us when we trust Him. Instead of defending ourselves, we can rest, knowing that God will handle things better than we ever could. The world may reward itself now—but our true reward is eternal, with Christ.

Who do you spend the most time with? We should value godly people who inspire and sharpen our faith. Are your closest friends lifting you closer to Jesus today? Let’s choose companions who encourage us to walk faithfully with the Lord.

How do your words affect others? Walking with God means speaking truth and avoiding slander. Our words can either bring life or cause harm. Let’s ask God to help us use our tongues to bless others and stay close to Him.

Are you aware of how much you need God today? We’re all broken without Him—but He hears us when we call on Him. He alone provides everything we need, from strength to salvation. Let’s be people of prayer.
