SIMON DOOM

Simon Doom lead single “I Feel Unloved” premiered on Noisey.com and has since been featured on Spotify's New Music Friday and named one of the best songs of 2017 by NME Magazine. As John Hill from Clrvynt.com put it in the streaming premiere for Babyman “Doom has nailed down how to imbue a song with both undeniable catchiness and rich atmosphere”. The record, which was co-produced by Andrew Vanwyngarden and Ben Goldwasser (both of MGMT) is Simon O’Connor’s post-baby record much in the way In Utero was for Kurt Cobain or Smoke Rings For My Halo for Kurt Vile. That sort of perspective can either kill an artist or push him to new creative heights. Babymanundoubtedly puts Simon Doom in the latter category.

ROCKY SANDOVAL

R&B crooner, Rocky Sandoval is on a whole new level.  Having spent over a decade in the industry and seeing multiple "breaks", he's hit the reset button a bit and picked up a new sound.  He stops by to bring us his new single "Still In Love" produced by The Stereotypes and chats about his journey.  Follow him here

CAYE

Having started his college career at USC School of Music, CAYE has recently decided to put his formal education on hold and hit the music industry full time.  With budding success from recent releases "LA Life" and "With You", the multi-instrumentalist and singer/rapper has found his sound and his forth coming project Pink Tree Paradise is highly anticipated.  Follow CAYE here

With residencies all over town, DAVIS is not only a talented singer and musician, but an all around good guy.  He stops by to chat about his song "Los Angeles" and rocks out a live rendition with lyrics such as "you'll never find gold in Silverlake".  Keep an eye out for him and follow him here

ROME CASTILLE

This LA native is certainly a one of a kind - fusing his musical talent with his love for fashion.  Rome came into the DASH studio with some of the freshest kicks I've ever seen paired with his signature beanie and classic suit.  His music has a throwback quality to it and I was incredibly impressed with the overall vibe of his "Sixty Series" EP (stream it here).  Some stand out tracks include the morning anthem "Look Good" and "Jean Gaultier".  He has also two tracks on the project where he collaborated with fellow "NEXT Alum" Trevor Wesley.  Keep tabs on this rising artist here: @romecastille

SUNNY LUKAS

At the age of 17, this young man has a very bright future ahead of him.  Born and raised in Hong Kong and a child of the world, Sunny not only writes, plays and sings, but also speaks a multitude of languages.  We sit down and talk with the high school senior about his recent singles, "Everyone Is Beautiful" and his brand new one with super producer Hit Boy.  Stream his tracks here and follow him here.
